With over 200,00 sq ft of serviced and private offices in eight buildings in Mayfair, The City, Southwark and Watford in its portfolio, as well as co-working and event spaces, Halkin has been quick to adapt its operations to ensure that the 3,500+ desks, 400+ offices and bookable meeting rooms in all Halkin business centres are Covid-secure.
Thermal imaging cameras for automatic temperature checks at building entrances, super-power fogging machines to sterilise desk and communal areas, contactless sign-in technology and a video guide to social distancing in the office are among the ‘new normal’ office measures that have been introduced.
All Halkin office spaces have stayed open throughout the Covid crisis as many SME clients rely on having a base for their business and large corporate tenants have been busy delivering essential biomedical, construction and transport services during the pandemic.
Halkin media coverage generated this month has included:
- A Q&A on how Covid is shaping office use with Halkin founder and Chair Michael Kingshott CVO published in New Business Magazine.
- Halkin HR and training lead, Sarah-Jane Hart, interviewed for Nick Ferrari’s breakfast show on London’s LBC radio for a ‘return to the office’ feature.
- Jonathan Kingshott, Halkin’s CEO, interviewed on BBC and ITV TV news, responding to the Government’s change of guidance to office workers in light of the rising number of recorded cases of Covid-19 in parts of the UK.
"Congratulations, superb coverage. I know how hard everyone has worked for this... big kudos to all."
